What membership includes

One membership. $10 per year.

Symetrec membership begins on Flux-1 issuance. Annual dues are $10/year, charged on each anniversary of your Flux-1 issue date. There are no separate tiers of membership and no per-credential dues.

Flux-0 holders are not Symetrec members. There are no dues at Flux-0, no continuing-education obligation, and no renewal cycle -- Flux-0 is a lifetime credential. Membership begins only when you pass Flux-1.

Active membership is required to submit Flux Education Units (FEUs) and to renew Flux-1 through Flux-5 credentials. If membership lapses and FEU requirements are not met by the end of the renewal window, the credential is demoted -- it remains on your record but becomes inactive until membership is restored and the next renewal cycle is satisfied.

Flux Education Units (FEUs).

Keeping your Flux certification current requires demonstrating ongoing growth. Flux Education Units (FEUs) are Symetrec's continuing education currency. One hour of qualifying activity equals one FEU. Earn enough FEUs before your renewal date and your credential stays active.

Earning a new Flux tier certification automatically renews all lower-tier credentials. Microcredentials never expire and do not require renewal.

Every Symetrec microcredential completion earns FEUs equal to its duration. A 4-hour microcredential = 4 FEUs.

Attend events

Symetrec Gatherings, webinars, and approved community events each earn FEUs. Each hour of attendance = 1 FEU.

Contribute to the standard

Publishing verified case studies, mentoring candidates, and volunteering at Symetrec events all qualify for FEU credit.
