Six tiers. Performance-based. AI-scored. Free during early access beta. The only way to earn a Flux credential is to actually be able to solve the problem.
The Flux Standard is the credential layer of the Flux Foundation framework. Read the framework.
Every Flux certification follows the same process. You register, you pay the attempt fee, and you hit 'I'm Ready.' Your problem is revealed and your timer starts. You build. You submit. AI scores your work against a tier-calibrated rubric and delivers a result within minutes. Pass and your credential is issued instantly. Fail and you can retry after the lockout period.
Every Spacer starts at Flux-0. Each Flux tier is earned in sequence -- holding an active credential at the tier directly below unlocks the next.
Hit 'I'm Ready.' A real business problem from a real industry is generated for you. Your timer starts immediately. There is no pause.
Use any tools you choose. AI models, no-code platforms, code, design, cloud services. Anything you can deploy within your time window.
Submit your live URL, GitHub repo, and written narrative. AI scores your submission. Pass or fail delivered in minutes. Credential issued instantly on pass.
Flux-0 is not a beginner certification. It is proof that you have crossed the threshold -- that you can use AI to accomplish something a human could not do alone in 5 minutes. It is the entry point to Symetrec membership and the foundation of the Flux Standard.
The Flux-0 challenge is a 5-minute task generated at registration. The task is designed to be trivially easy with AI and effectively impossible without it. Pass and you are a Symetrec member for life.
Flux-1 certifies professionals who have genuinely integrated AI into their daily workflow. Not tool users -- Spacers. People who produce more in a morning than most produce in a week.
The Flux-1 challenge is a 1-hour build task drawn from a real industry problem. You will solve the business problem: concept, copy, design, and deployment. The scoring rubric weights output completeness and execution quality most heavily at this tier.
Flux-2 certifies professionals who operate across multiple domains simultaneously. Strategy and execution. Depth and breadth. The 2-hour window is long enough to demand coherence across functions -- and short enough to expose anyone who can only move fast in one direction.
The scoring rubric shifts at Flux-2. Domain breadth becomes a serious weight. Output completeness alone will not carry you. You need to demonstrate that you can build across a full business function, not just execute a single deliverable.
Flux-3 is where the Flux Standard starts commanding real compensation conversations. At this tier, you are operating at the scale of a 30-person organization -- delivering outcomes that used to require entire companies, in timeframes that used to require entire quarters.
The 4-hour window demands sustained strategic judgment across every business function. The rubric weights strategic judgment at 15% and domain breadth at 20%. A technically excellent executor who cannot make and defend high-stakes decisions will not pass Flux-3.
Flux-4 is the credential that signals institutional-scale capability. At this tier, you are replacing a division -- operating with the strategic depth of a leadership team and the delivery speed of an engineering organization. The 8-hour window is long enough to expose weak systems thinking.
The Flux-4 problem contains deliberately ambiguous constraints, competing stakeholder interests, and resource limitations. The rubric weights strategic judgment and domain breadth at 40% combined. Speed matters -- but a fast wrong answer fails.
Flux-5 is the hardest Flux certification to earn. Fewer than 1 in 2,000 candidates pass. Like every Flux credential at Flux-1 and above, Flux-5 maintains via Flux Education Units over a 24-month window.
The Flux-5 challenge is a 12-hour venture launch. You will build a venture-ready company from scratch -- live product, go-to-market foundation, financial model with bear/base/bull scenarios, and an investor-ready pitch. No incorporation required. Everything else is real. This is also what it looks like to be handed a blank mandate inside a Fortune 500 and told to build a new product line alone.
The scoring engine evaluates not just what you built -- but whether you identified the unstated constraints, second-order risks, and market dynamics that were not in the brief. Most candidates solve the problem as written. Flux-5 Architects solve the problem beneath the problem.
Flux-5 is the apex of the Flux Standard -- the highest pass threshold (88/100), the longest challenge (12 hours), and the lowest target pass rate (0.05 percent). It is calibrated as the reference against which every lower tier in the rubric is anchored.
Earned in sequence. No study guides. A real problem, a real time limit, and a fair result. Start with Flux-0 -- free during early access beta, or attempt any tier directly.
